How to Preview or Test Your Email Notifications

Getting your emails to look just right for attendees is an important part of your Webinar! But how do you preview your email notifications? We have a couple different solutions for you.


Test Emails Normally

If you'd like to see how your Welcome email or any pre and post webinar notifications appear, you'll want to do a test registration using an email address that is different from the one you've configured as the Owner/Host.
Then, you can either receive the emails just as your attendees do, at the time intervals you've set in the Notifications section.


Test Emails Immediately

However, you may want to see them before the normal intervals.  In which case, you can send them immediately.
To manually send the emails to your inbox after you've done your test registration, go to your webinar dashboard
  1. Select Analytics (Marked #1 Below)
  2. Choose the webinar & session from the drop down menu (Marked #2 Below)
  3. Click the green GO button (Marked #3 Below)
  4. Click the Down arrow on Registrants/Attendees section (Marked #4 Below)
  5. Click the envelope icon next to your registration information  (Marked #5 Below)
In the popup:
  1. Click the GREEN "Resend email" (Marked #1 Below)
  2. Here, if you have configured your own SMTP server, you also have the option of creating a whole new email. (Marked #2 Below) Read more about SMTP Server


Resend for Attendee

If, for any reason, you believe a registrant's email did not arrive to their inbox, you can use the above resend function to send a new email to your registrant.  Simply choose their name from the "Registrants" list.  If you have quite a few registrants you may need to use the search feature which is displayed on the "Registrants & Attendees" list
