Mad Mimi Autoresponder Integration

This article is for: Legacy WebinarJam Users (Customers who joined prior to Sept 2017)

 
Autoresponder integration exists for the sole purpose of getting your attendee from the WebinarJam interface into your regular autoresponder. It's a simple co-registration process.  Here's how to set it up.

How To Create A List in MadMimi

 *skip to How to Get the MadMimi Form Code if you already have a list set up*
 
Login to your MadMimi account.
 
  1. Click on "Audience" from the top menu (Marked #1 Below)
  2. Click on "Add a list"  (Marked #2 Below)
  3. Create your list name in the yellow box that appears (Marked #3 Below)
 
 

Enable Webforms

  1. Click "Add things" (Marked #1 Below)
  2. Turn "Webforms" on (Marked #2 Below)
 
 
And you're done!

How to Get the MadMimi Form Code

  1. Click "Webforms" (Marked #1 Below) 
  2. Click "Add a Webform" (Marked #2 Below)
 
 
 
Click on your list name.
  1. Click on lists, from the drop down choose which list these people will be added to. (Marked #1 Below)
  2. Then click "Add a field."  Click "Name" from the drop down (Marked #2 Below)  
    This will add the name field to the form
  3. Click "Embed"

  • Click on Plan Embed 
  • Copy the code

How to Integrate MadMimi with Webinar Jam

Follow the steps in How To Create An Opt-in Form in MadMimi to Create a Form
 
  • Copy the form code provided by MadMimi and paste it into a NotePad
  • You only need the code between (and including) these lines:
   <form accept-charset="UTF-8" action​...
... lots of other code is here...
</form>
 

Edit Your Webinar

  1. Edit your Webinar,
  2. Go to the Integrations tab.
  3. Select Other from the choices
 
 

Add the code to the popup

  1. Enter the html <form.... /form> code from your NotePad (Marked #1 Below)
     
  2. Enter the name of the name field in the textbox. To find that in your code, look for this line:
     
    <input id="signup_email" name="signup[name]" type="text"

    Notice this part: name="signup[name]"
     
    Enter "signup[name]" inn the name text box. (Marked #2 Below)
     
  3. Enter the name of the name field in the textbox. To find that in your code, look for this line:

    <input id="signup_email" name="signup[email]" type="text"

    Notice this part: name="signup[email]"
     
    Enter signup[email] (Marked #3 Below)
     
  4. Press Select
     
     
 
Save & Next through the remaining pages to publish your webinar!
