How to Email a Segment of Attendees

This article is for: Legacy WebinarJam Users (Customers who joined prior to Sept 2017)

There are two different ways to segment your audience to email them. The first way allows you to send emails automatically. The second option allows you to send to people who may or may not have watched the replay and it requires you to send emails manually.

 

After Webinar Segment Emails

When you set up your Notifications, you can set up After Webinar Emails which allow you to segment the list. These emails you can set up before the webinar or at any time and they will go out automatically at the correct timing.
 
After your webinar, you are able to segment your list according to the registrants below.  You can select from those who attended, or those attended who left before a certain time or other settings.

Segment a List via Analytics

This section requires that you manually create and email these recipients. Please note the following differences between EverWebinar and WebinarJam

For EverWebinar you can segment, but you will need to download the registrants. You can't email the segments from within EverWebinar.

 

This section requires that you manually create and email these recipients.  It also requires that you have Set up SMTP for Email Notifications for you to be able to email those. 

 
NOTE: You will only see the Analytics for "All Sessions", previous webinars, or for your next upcoming webinar. To see which attendees are in upcoming webinars, select "All Sessions" and compare it against your other sessions.
 
  • Select Analytics from the Left tab. (Marked #1 Below)
  • Choose the Webinar (Marked #2 Below)
  • And the Session (Marked #3 Below)
  • Next Click the Down Arrow beside "Registrants & attendees" (Marked #4 Below)

  • If you want to see "All Sessions" change the first drop down (Marked #5 Below) 

    From the next Drop Down Menus you can choose Attendees who attended the live session, attendees who attended a replay, those who bought and other options.

    NOTE:You will only see the Analytics for "All Sessions", previous webinars, or for your next upcoming webinar, not additional upcoming webinars.
     
  • If you need to resend an email to a group, then select the group from the drop downs, then press "Email All" (Marked #7 Below)

    In the popup you'll be able to choose from one of the emails you've already created. You can edit or modify it to fit the particular needs of that segment of registrants.  

     
  • You can delete individual attendees by clicking the trash icon (Marked #8 Below). These cannot be recovered once deleted.
