Wondering how an EverWebinar can look real?  Below are some common questions about using External Video Files with EverWebinar
 

 

What External Video Source Options Can I Use with EverWebinar?

While WebinarJam owners can enjoy the convenience of being able to quickly import their WebinarJam sessions into EverWebinar, EverWebinar is designed to convert almost any video into an automated webinar.

This means you can use a Webinar created on another program, a slideshow presentation you video taped, etc. In order to do so, your video will need to be stored within one of the following locations: 

  1. YouTube
  2. Vimeo Pro (Not Vimeo Free or Plus)
  3. Amazon S3
  4. Other miscellaneous hosting sites

 Using one of the above, you can convert your video into an automated webinar.

How Do I Use an External Source Video in EverWebinar?

You can only use an External Video Source with EverWebinar, for WebinarJam you would need to add a Preconfigured Video that you can play during your live webinar.

Click New Webinar. You'll be taken to the EverWebinar Configuration Screen as displayed below.

  1. Click the pencil beside "Source of your evergreen webinar" (Marked #1 Below)
  2. Press the "An External Video File" Button (Marked #2 Below)
  3. Add your YouTube Link, an Amazon S3 mp4, Vimeo PRO mp4 link. (Marked #3 Below)
    1. If you use something other than YouTube, you will be using the EverWebinar custom player which will remove the YouTube Logo, YouTube video controls
  4. Add the Duration of your video in Hours Minutes and Seconds. (Marked #4 Below)
    1. This step is IMPORTANT. Be certain the time codes match up. 
  5. Be sure to Confirm and press "Save and Next" at the bottom.
    1. Save all the way through your webinar setup to ensure the best results. 

NOTE: DropBox, Vimeo Free or Plus, and Wistia all play videos within their own players, meaning these video services will not work with EverWebinar or WebinarJam.

How Do I Change a Previous WebinarJam to an External Video Source?

You will want to use WebinarJam to record your webinar. Then choose 

Then Click New Webinar. You'll be taken to the EverWebinar Configuration Screen as displayed below.

  1. Click the pencil beside "Source of your evergreen webinar" (Marked #1 Below)
  2. Press the "An External Video File" Button (Marked #2 Below)
  3. Add your YouTube Link, an Amazon S3 mp4, Vimeo PRO mp4 link. (Marked #3 Below)
    1. If you use something other than YouTube, you will be using the EverWebinar custom player which will remove the YouTube Logo, YouTube video controls
  4. Add the Duration of your video in Hours Minutes and Seconds. (Marked #4 Below)
