Get Response Autoresponder Integration

This article is for: Legacy WebinarJam Users (Customers who joined prior to Sept 2017)
 
Autoresponder integration exists for the sole purpose of getting your attendee from the WebinarJam interface into your regular autoresponder. It's a simple co-registration process. Here's how to set it up.
 
 

How To Create A List in Get Response

 
  • From the 'Your Current Campaign' dropdown, click on Create Campaign.
 
 
  • Enter a name for your Campaign.  It needs to be unique
  • Click the Create New Campaign button.
 
And you're done!
 
In case you want to edit whether this campaign is double opt-in or single opt-in, click the gear icon at the top while your campaign is selected as the current campaign.
 

How To Add A Subscription Form

  • Go to Your Dashboard(Marked #1 Below)
  • Move your mouse over Forms at the top and click on Create Form. (Marked #2 Below)
 
On the new page that appears, click "Plain HTML Editor"
 

Plain Form Editor

  • Check to make certain you are in the correct campaign. (Marked #1 Below)
By default, GetResponse already has both name and email fields.  (Skip Phone to get Code)
 

OPTIONAL Add the Phone Field

  • Under "Add Custom Fields"
  • Click Phone (marked #2 Below)
 
 

How to Get the GetResponse HTML Code

  • Copy Code (Marked #3 Below)
 

 

How to Integrate Get Response with Webinar Jam

 
  • Copy the form code provided by Get Response. It will look similar to the code below

Edit Your Webinar

  1. Edit your Webinar,   
  2. Go to the Integrations tab. 
  3. Select Get Response from the choices 
 
 

Add the code to the popup

  1. Paste the form code you copied from GetResponse without the Script (Marked #1 Below)
  2. OPTIONAL. If you're collecting the phone number as well, make sure you enter the name of the phone
    field in the textbox. To find that in your code, look for this line:
     
    <input name="custom_phone" type="text" value="" /><br/>
     
    Notice this part: name="custom_Phone"
     
    Enter 'custom_Phone ' in the text box.  (Marked #2 Below)
  3. Press Select (Marked #3 Below)
 
Save & Next through the remaining pages to publish your webinar!
