1ShoppingCart / One Shopping Cart Autoresponder Integration

This article is for: Legacy WebinarJam Users (Customers who joined prior to Sept 2017)

Autoresponder integration exists for the sole purpose of getting your attendee from the WebinarJam interface into your regular autoresponder. It's a simple co-registration process. Here's how to set it up.
 

How To Create A List in One Shopping Cart

  1. Click on Email & Marketing  (Marked #1 below)
  2. From the dropdown, select Autoresponders (Marked #2  below)
 
 
 
 Next, click the Create New button
 
 
  1. Enter a name for your Campaign  (Marked #1 below)
  2. Add a Description for your campaign  (Marked #2 below)
 
 
 
  1. Enter a From Name (Marked #1 below)
  2. From Email for your campaign. (Marked #2 below) 
    *  1 & 2 will appear as the sender when you send out an email to this list.
  3. Choose a suitable Campaign type (Marked #3 below)
  4. Click save  (Marked #4 below)
 
 
 
 

 
 

How To Create An Opt-in Form

 
  1. Click on Email & Marketing   (Marked #1 below) 
  2. From the dropdown, select Web Forms  (Marked #2 below) 
 
This brings up a page with all your forms.

Click on Create New
 
 
  1. Enter a name   (Marked #1 Below)
  2. description for your form. (Marked #2 Below)
  3. NOTE: Make sure that the Captcha option is unchecked  (Marked #3 Below)
 
 
 
 
Once you're done, click Next.
 
Choose your autoresponder options as required
 
When you're done, click Next.
 
The email field is added to the form by default.
 
You must add a name field to your form. To do so, click the "+" sign for the First Name field

 

OPTIONAL: Add Phone Field

 
If you wish to add a phone field, click the "+" sign for the 'home phone' field
 
Once you're done, click Next.

 

IMPORTANT Remove The Checkboxes

This is an important step. By default, 1SC adds a checkbox to your form, which does not work with Webinar Jam.
 
To remove that, click on the Options tab, and uncheck the box that says "Privacy Policy" and "Enable Email Consent"

 
 
Choose your autoresponder thank you page options as required (your customer won't be sent to this page, they will be sent to their WebinarJam page with their unique webinar link on it, so the system hosted page is fine.
 
Once you're done, click Save.

 

How to Get the 1 Shopping Cart HTML Code

Follow the steps in How To Create An Opt-in Form in 1 Shopping Cart
 
  1. In your 1SC account, click on Email & Marketing,   (Marked #1 Below)
  2. and from the dropdown, select Web Forms. This brings up a page with all your forms. (Marked #2 Below)
 
 
Find the form you created for your webinar, then click the Get Code button for your form.
 
 
Click on Get Form Code to get your form code. Copy and paste the form code in a text editor like Notepad
 

 

How to Integrate 1SC with Webinar Jam

 
  • Copy the form code provided by 1ShoppingCart and paste it into a NotePad
  • You only need the code between (and including) these lines:
     
    <form class="mc-webform mc-webform...
     
    <<lots of other code is here>>
     
    </form>
     
    Copy that and paste it into Webinar Jam

Edit Your Webinar

  1. Edit your Webinar,   
  2. Go to the Integrations tab. 
  3. Select 1ShoppingCart from the choices 
 
 

Add the code to the popup

  1. Paste the form code you copied from 1Shopping Cart (Marked #1 Below)
     
  2. OPTIONAL. If you're collecting the phone number as well, make sure you enter the name of the phone
    field in the textbox. To find that in your code, look for this line:
     
    <input type="text" name="homephone" />
     
    Notice this part:  name="homephone"
     Enter 'homephone' in the text box.  (Marked #2 Below)
     
  3. Press Select (Marked #3 Below)
 
Save & Next through the remaining pages to publish your webinar!
